CrystalSec: Alcatel Information Security Framework

Alcatel has developed a security framework and architecture for its networking products – the OmniSwitch and OmniPCX product families. Because security has become a key element in most network designs, it is essential that the products Alcatel builds are conceived with strong security in mind. This is achieved by ensuring that products are hardened against attack, implement a security-by-default configuration profile, regulate and provision administrative controls, offer value-added security services to end users, and leverage partner security technologies to protect against predefined threats.
